I am so glad that I found a post about the inefficiency of Maybank. I have been trying to search for 2 days now for the email addresses for people like Mr. Ashraf Ali Kadir or Mr. Mohd Fadzil Ismail, Head of Customer Relationship Management of Maybank. Tried to search for the name of a Head of Customer Care as well but to no avail. I know your post about Maybank is so 2 years ago but could you please email me the email addresses/contact details of the relevant people. I have been a Maybank credit cardmember for years and recently asked for an annual fee waiver. To summarize, I usually have no problem when it comes to this. However, this time around, it has taken Maybank almost an entire month and it is not done yet, with all sorts of lame excuses like, 'it is pending approval' (since 31/10/09!!!). I have written countless emails to mgcc@maybank.com.my and mbbcardservices@maybank.com.my. I am getting extremely frustrated. So, I will REALLY appreciate it if you could give me email addresses to the Head of Customer Care or CRM and Head of Card Services as well. Thank you in advance!

This is actually an old issue and it was totally untrue. I applied for monthly housing withdrawal using my EPF last year n some months ago, I went to their hq in KL to ask about this as well. They reassured me by printing my statement n i can see that my savings with the EPF are still earning dividends.

'This is especially destructive for woman. Her sexual attraction is a function of her fertility. As fertility declines, so does her sex appeal. If a woman devotes her prime years to becoming “independent,” she is not likely to find a permanent mate.'

Why MUST a woman look for a permanent mate.

How different are these racist from the Ahmad Ismails, the cow-head bastards and the MACC. There is one big difference though. You will NEVER see the Malay dominated TV stations doing a documentary like this. This is the difference between a first world country and a 'ketuanan' third world country like Malaysia. I have seen Malays beating up a Chinese at petrol stations because the Chinese happened to get to the petrol pump first. I have seen Malays telling me that the Malays will riot and kill the Chinese if the Chinese were to support Tan Koon Swan as MCA president.

If accelerating uphill and something is not right, and what you mean by not right is that you get a funny pinging / knocking sound from the engine then RON 95 is bad for you.

I am going to try a RON 95 and 97 mix to see if I can solve the problem.

Yes the manual does say it is compatible - but the pinging is really noticeable.
Doesn't have to be pedal to the metal, just try and accelerate going up hill and if you get the sound then its a problem. If no sound then you are good to go on RON95.

Wahid definitely doesn't have much physical stature (esp. next to Feisal) and Danny sometimes isn't a very "nice" guy. But i reckon they are people with good hearts and quite definitely very smart ones. Whether or not they will do well at what they are supposed to do time will tell - i sure hope they do - Maybank's owned by all of us. Only if they don't then its our job to try to kick them out. Whether or not they are pseudo-pawns in some joker's fantasy football management game might just be irrelevant. Especially if we manage to do our job right.

Really interesting! Armstrong’s particular theory comes through in her introduction to A Case for God. In my view, she comes very close to reducing religion to ethics, which is something liberal Protestantism has been criticized for doing. Take, for example, "God is love." I interpret this as teaching that love is the source or basis of existence. Even though our acts of love (and feelings!...which Armstrong also discounts relative to conduct) involve "God is love" being actualized, there is also the sense irrespective of one's conduct that existence itself is love. I take the transcendent wisdom of the latter to be just as important as conduct in religious terms. I’ve just posted a critique (http://deligentia.wordpress.com/2009/10/10/a-case-for-god/).
