THis is an interesting development. Turkey has blocked access to the blog site wordpress.com . Read it here. I am sure it will be the starting point for countries to debate how free is the freedom of speech. Anyway, this must be good news for Zam & Co….
Here is my spoof on some of the comments made about bloggers. All I have done is change the word (blogger / writer) to politician.
With the changes I wonder if the article makes sense?

…….says not all Politicians are stupid as some of them are informative, knowledgeable and disseminate positive views on current issues.
The ones that were mostly goblok (stupid, in Indonesian) were Politicians who float rumours and create hatred among the people, he said yesterday.
He said politicians “blatantly abused the freedom of the Press.”
“Readers of these papers read them to pass time and for fun, akin to reading a ghost story. The people must be able to distinguish between goblok politicians and politicians,” he added.

MALACCA: The public should be wise in identifying the websites of goblok (Indonesian slang for “stupid”) Politicians, who are willing to be tools of others to destroy the nation, said…….
“These Politicians do not have an Asian mentality but lean towards a Western thinking because they were educated overseas. (like Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard….)
“Thus they assume that the Western style of democratic freedom is better. The goblok politicians only have their own interests at heart and should be ignored,” …..
