Is Nazri Aziz the village idiot?

Posted by: mindspring on: June 24, 2008

The easiest  way to draw conclusions about a person is to listen to what they say and then look at what they do.  Here we take a look at what Nazri Aziz says but  we can’t quite see what he does.

HE SAYS about the 2 SAPP MP’s not showing up in Parliament:

Commenting on Datuk Yong’s statement about the death threats, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz said ‘they were making things up‘.

‘In Malaysia we don’t go to that extent. It’s ridiculous. They must be joking. Who is going to threaten them? Barisan doesn’t do that,’ he said. – The Star/ANN.

The reality:

Sunday January 13, 2008 (The STAR)

Samy Vellu: Krishnasamy received death threats

SEGAMAT: Slain Tenggaroh state assemblyman Datuk S. Krishnasamy had received death threats weeks before he was murdered but had not taken them seriously.

“We also appeal to the Inspector-General of Police to investigate this case thoroughly as the previous murder of Lunas assemblyman Joe Fernandez in 2000 has yet to be solved,” he said.

“Besides that, several other murders have also taken place in Penang.”

Excerpts from Malaysia Today on high profile Malaysian Murders:

…we had the Mokhtar Hashim case, the Deputy Minister of Youth who was convicted of disposing his political rival in a most bizarre manner that was never fully revealed in the trial because it smacked of the occult.

…in November 1988, there was a high-profile murder of a young woman by the name of Mustakizah Jaafar. …She was rumoured to have been pregnant at the time of her death and many believe she was having an affair with a VIP close to the very top echelons of power.

11 years later, in Lim Kit Siang’s speech at the launch of the Barisan Alternative Joint Election Manifesto just before the 10th General Elections in November 1999, he raised the matter of Anwar Ibrahim’s testimony during his ongoing trial.

“Public credibility of the Barisan Nasional government reached a new nadir when the Kuala Lumpur High Court on Friday heard the explosive testimony of former Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who accused some of his former Cabinet colleagues of a high-level conspiracy to oust him from office….That Megat Junid’s involvement in the conspiracy to topple him stemmed from the time he enquired about Megat’s alleged involvement in the murder of a woman called Mustakizah and his constant gambling in the office,” said Kit Siang.

Be reminded:

Aliran Media Statement

Rahim Noor’s Confession: Black Eye and Blacker Deeds

Together with the Malaysian nation, Aliran notes that public demands to know the truth behind the infamous ‘black eye’ that Anwar Ibrahim suffered on the night of 20 September, 1998 has now produced a self-confessed villain

That villain is none other than the former Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Rahim Noor who confessed yesterday to having assaulted Anwar while the latter was defenceless and held in police custody.

The key phrase in Nazri’s comment is ‘In Malaysia we don’t go to that extent” So to what extent do we go in Malaysia Nazri? I guess “the extent” must be somewhere between beating up a person to pulp while in police custody and murder… after all if the Inspector General of Police can whack the Deputy Prime Minister – imagine what can be done to 2 renegade MP’s from SABAH!

[...] 14. During the trial, I was prepared too to provide evidence of selective prosecution by mentioning serious sex charges against Mahathir. However, I do not have Mahathir’s capacity for the cruelty that is born of vengefulness; I would not name the sex partners or the witnesses. After all, he is 73 years old and a grandfather. My intention here is only to show how Mahathir, using Mohtar, would seize upon any opportunity to apply selective prosecution against those he disfavours, even if it means concocting evidence. What about Rahim Tamby Chik’s case and other cases, implicating others who are still in Mahathir’s favour? What about the official said to have used his private jet to import women through the VIP lounge at Subang? Customs and immigration officials know about this. And what has happened to allegations that a minister was involved in the Mustakizah murder case? [...]

” Assalamualaikum,,..

Bodohnya Nazri.
